Happy Birthday to me 🙂
This is a special day for me as it’s my birthday, and I thought I would explore the topic of birth. I didn’t have children in this lifetime, and although I spoke about having them at different points in my life, I never felt the deep, unwavering commitment that I witnessed in some of my friends who took the plunge into the profound transformation of parenthood.
For some of you, birth may literally be about bringing children into the world. For others, your children may have grown and flown the nest. And perhaps, like me, you have not had children in this lifetime. So I ask you—WHAT ARE YOU BIRTHING NOW?
When I think of birth as a metaphor, what comes to my mind and heart is the idea that we are here to birth something unique—something deeply embedded in the blueprint of our souls. It is not necessarily about creating a family, a career, or a project (though it may well be), but about allowing our most authentic selves to emerge.
How do we do that? We release the layers of who we are not—the unconscious conditioning, outdated beliefs, and limiting narratives—and start fully embodying who we are meant to be. That means embracing ALL parts of who we are. Authentic. True. Aligned. Real. These words resonate as the essence of birthing our truest nature into existence.

Steps to Birthing Your True Self
💫 Explore What Brings You Joy
(I’m always going on about this because joy is such awesome medicine!) Find anything that allows you to be creative and get into a flow state—gardening, painting, dancing, riding a motorbike, running, singing, cooking… whatever brings you joy!
💫 Discover and Anchor Your Inner Cheerleader
Spend time connecting with the part of you that is solid, wise, calm, unwavering in support, and always present—even when you don’t feel it. This is the voice of your deepest self, the loving guide who believes in you without condition. Imagine the best parent you could ever have—one who offers pure, unshakable love. That presence already exists within you.
💫 Listen to Your Body’s Wisdom
Your body holds every experience you have ever had. The subconscious mind stores emotions, memories, and truths that words sometimes cannot capture. Tune in. Notice sensations, feelings, and intuitive nudges. The more you attune to yourself, the clearer your path becomes. What do you truly want? What do you deeply need?
💫 Let Go of the Old, Welcome the New
Releasing old patterns and beliefs is a courageous act of birth. Whether through self-inquiry, breathwork, or other transformative practices, shedding what no longer serves you makes space for something new to emerge. What are you ready to release? What is longing to be born through you?
💫 Notice With Compassion All the Different Parts of Yourself
Observe the different parts of your personality that show up in various situations and relationships. All of your parts are here to serve you; they just got lost along the way when their original role was no longer needed. If we can place love and compassion at the center of these parts rather than fear and judgment, we can feel more whole, connected, and on-purpose.
💫 Align With Your Soul’s Truth
Your soul already knows why you are here. When you align with that inner truth, life begins to flow with greater ease, purpose, and joy. This doesn’t mean everything is always easy, but it does mean you are walking the path meant for you. Trust the process. Trust yourself.
As we step into this next cycle of creation, I invite you to ask yourself: What am I birthing right now? Whether it’s a new way of being, a project, a dream, or simply a deeper connection to yourself—honor it. Nurture it. Trust that it is unfolding in perfect timing.
I’d love to hear what you are birthing in your life! Hit reply and share your thoughts, or join me in my upcoming workshops and coaching sessions, where we’ll explore these themes together.
With gratitude & love,
Liv
